Aimsun is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Software Development team at Aimsun headquarters in central Barcelona. Our ideal candidate is strongly motivated to improve the quality of the software and experienced in software development and testing.

Your mission will be to streamline the whole product delivery process, taking care of all the release pipelines while working on our multi-platform deployment processes.

You will be encouraged to propose new technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all the continuous integration and delivery tools (Git, Jenkins, …)
  • Define a fully automated release management process, including the branching model, handling of artefacts, automated testing, and deployment; this process will work all the way from development and testing up to client delivery.
  • Master the configuration management, creating and maintaining the proper level of automation for all product deployment.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation related to the release management process and related configurations.
  • Collaborate on building a better architecture for the whole product.

Transport Modeller, Barcelona

Location

Barcelona. This position is partially based in Barcelona, Spain combined with some remote working and the option of flexible hours.

Role

  • Work in a team environment to deliver Aimsun models and services to public and private clients in a timely and resource-efficient manner
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional environment to scope and deploy Aimsun decision support systems for major cities and/or highway corridors

Location

Solution Designer, Barcelona

Location: Partially based in the Aimsun office in Barcelona, combined with remote working and the option of flexible hours.

This is by definition an interdepartmental role centered on the design of bespoke mobility solutions. It brings together four perspectives that are equally important:

  • models and algorithms
  • software and associated technologies
  • traffic engineering, management and control as well as transportation planning
  • stakeholder communication

Accordingly, the person selected for the job is, over time, expected to develop an excellent understanding of all those perspectives. Reporting to the Solution Design Manager and Global Head of Product Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional solution designer for incoming requests for proposals, market scoping talks about the products and for solution delivery tenders
  • Being a technical support resource to the Business Development team for regional solution design presentations (whether in-person or remote) in ongoing bids
  • Work in an interdepartmental role to gather know-how about all technical aspects of the bid (data science, product customization, hardware and software requirements, resource planning) to enable efficient but realistic solution design in a fast-paced bid timeline
  • Gather user needs and issues related with the product use or the requirements stemming from bids both internally (from the local Professional Services Coordinator) and externally (from calls, meetings with clients, exhibitions)
  • Work with bid coordinator, content solution specialist on streamlining the overall bid process
  • Support marketing on creating materials to present new and innovative solutions and the latest versions of the products

Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Market Expansion, the Business Development Specialist role assists business development activities to increase the client base and order intake of the business
