Digital Marketing Intern, Barcelona

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to support the Growth Team in developing Aimsun markets. Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Customer Engagement, you will play an active role in our digital content production, campaign support and outreach activities. The role is highly oriented to digital content to support our broader SEO plan.

You’ll gain: hands-on experience across multiple areas of digital marketing; exposure to content strategy, SEO planning and CRM operations; understanding of B2B marketing within the transport technology sector; the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to brand visibility and lead generation.

Responsibilities
Content Creation and SEO Support
  • Produce content for social media, web pages, email newsletters and simple visual assets
  • Create basic graphics, social cards, short videos and slide deck
  • Assist with updating web content and supporting keyword-based optimisation
Digital Campaign Support
  • Assist with preparing email campaigns, landing pages and tracking links
  • Help coordinate campaign schedules, assets and reporting tasks

Requirements:
  • Studying Marketing, Digital Design or a related degree
  • Competence in standard Microsoft 365 Office apps especially PowerPoint and Word
  • Familiarity with web editing tools such as HTML, WordPress and Elementor
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Competence with Capcut, Canva or another editing and design tool

Researcher, Barcelona

Responsibilities & tasks:

  • Collaborate with the Delivery team to execute research projects efficiently, in line with our project management framework.
  • Manage smaller projects and/or work packages within larger projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and budgets are met.
  • Perform R&D activities, including simulation using Aimsun software, study design, analysis, and occasional software coding or model building.
  • Prepare and review project specifications, reports, and publications (conference and journal).
  • Represent Aimsun at project meetings, conferences, and industry forums, presenting project work as required.
  • Contribute to and, when needed, lead Aimsun’s involvement in bids for EU-funded and other research projects.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across research, commercial, and internal projects to strengthen the Delivery team´s expertise.
  • Adhere to QMS policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures relevant to your work and workplace.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English

Sales and Marketing Intern, Barcelona

You will join the Global Head of Growth’s team, supporting the design and execution of New Sales campaigns, New Customer programs, and Partner initiatives across our global markets.

This internship is ideal for someone passionate about Sales, Marketing, AI tools, and innovation who wants hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing B2B tech environment.

 

Responsibilities & tasks

Communication

  • Support preparation and follow‑up of quarterly performance meetings with the Global Head of Growth.

Sales & marketing operations

Business Operations and Data Management Intern, Barcelona

We are looking for an intern to join our Growth team to support daily business management and operations, leveraging business data analytics to monitor performance, generate insights, and support strategic growth initiatives.

You will work with the team on the preparation of commercial proposals, administration and data management functions.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants to gain solid experience and understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle from an operational and administrative perspective. You will contribute to managing, organizing, and maintaining business data and documentation, enabling the team to produce high-quality, accurate reports and effectively track key business KPIs.

Key responsibilities

Preparation of proposals and commercial offers

  • Support the preparation of all administrative documentation required for tender responses.
  • Assist in drafting CVs and compiling documentation for team members involved in bid submissions.

Salesforce (CRM) and Data Analysis

  • Follow up on tender and commercial opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and updated along the business cycle.
  • Support Salesforce overall data (leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue) quality and consistency
  • Support the analysis and maintenance of Salesforce data to help track sales performance and identify trends.
  • Assist in creating and updating Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide clear insights on key business and growth metrics.

Aimsun Library

  • Update and maintain the internal library with newly created content, including CVs, project sheets, submitted proposals, client references, and related materials.

Must-haves

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in—and ideally some hands-on experience with—data management and data analytics.
  • Solid understanding of, and curiosity about, the commercial business cycle.
  • Interest in or basic experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
