As soon as you have completed the installation, click on the tutorials tab on the introductory screen to find sample networks that will give you an idea of Aimsun’s breadth of application, speed and user-friendliness. In addition, the free trial version includes electronic copies of the User Manual covering every aspect of Aimsun in detail.

Trial version requirements

Download URLs are available for the following systems:

  • 32-bit version of Windows© XP, Vista, 7 or 8
  • 64-bit version of Windows© XP, Vista, 7 or 8
  • 64-bit version of Mac OS© X 10.7 (Lion) and 10.8 (Mountain Lion)
  • 64-bit version of Ubuntu Linux© 10.04 or newer

 

Trial version restrictions

The following restrictions are only applicable to the free trial version of the software (the full versions do not have these limitations):

  • Free trial license expires 30 days after installation.
  • Save is disabled.
  • Storing experiment data in an external database is disabled.
  • Scripting is not available.
