Aimsun is now part of Atlantia

Strategic investment holding, Atlantia, has finalized the acquisition of Yunex Traffic from Siemens Mobility. As part of Yunex Traffic Group, this marks the beginning of a new chapter for Aimsun too.

Siemens announced the contract signing to sell the Intelligent Road Infrastructure and Traffic Solutions business to Atlantia in January 2022, and the transaction closed on June 30th, 2022.

Atlantia’s asset portfolio combines transport infrastructure concessions with digital service platforms to provide advanced mobility services, so together we are perfectly positioned to actively shape the market and break new ground in traffic management.

“With our new strategic owner, our great global team and the most innovative portfolio in the market, we have everything we could ask for to transform mobility around the world,” said Markus Schlitt, CEO of Yunex Traffic. “I am very excited to see what the future holds and to work with Atlantia and its portfolio companies to make mobility safer, smarter, more sustainable and seamless.”
