Mark Brackstone in TRB Traffic Flow Theory Committee

 

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) has appointed Mark Brackstone to its Standing Committee on Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics – AHB45 for the term April 2016 to April 2019.

The committee is concerned with the development, validation, and dissemination of theoretical, experimental, and applied research on traffic flow theory and traffic flow characteristics. The committee also involves itself in the relationship of traffic flow theory and traffic flow characteristics to the planning, design, and operation of transportation systems.

In addition, Mark is currently participating in the organisation of the Traffic Flow Theory Flow Theory Session at this year’s AUVSI/TRB Automated Vehicles Symposium, which is being organised by Traffic Flow Modelling for Connected and Automated Vehicles Sub Committee AHB45(3).
