Aimsun named approved supplier on CCS Transport Technology Framework

Aimsun has been named as an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s RM6347 Transport Technology framework, under Lot 7c: Systems and Platforms, Transport Network Management. This framework provides a compliant, streamlined route for UK public sector organisations to procure transport technology solutions from accredited suppliers.

Replacing the previous Transport Technology and Associated Services agreement, the Transport Technology framework supports buyers across central and local government and the wider public sector, helping them source modern, sustainable transport technologies in line with national policy goals.

Through this route to market, authorities can access Aimsun Live, Aimsun’s traffic Digital Twin platform that provides automated decision support for real‑time network operations and incident management.

Aimsun’s Digital Twin technology is already helping UK regions to improve performance, including the Tees Valley Traffic Digital Twin, where monitoring and evaluation results report a 14 percent reduction in delays.

The framework supports both competitive selection and award without competition, offering flexible procurement options that reduce time to contract while maintaining quality, value and social value considerations.
