LEVITATE: using autonomous vehicles as urban passenger cars

New article reporting on some of the latest results from the LEVITATE project, investigating how autonomous vehicles could be implemented in the operation of passenger cars in cities.

This paper uses the Aimsun Next microsimulation model provided by Transport for Greater Manchester to examine integration of AVs with a dedicated public transportation lane as well as a model of Santander provided by Universidad de Cantabria to investigate the impact of differing AV parking policies on network performance.
