Roads for a connected Britain – Highways UK

Online
November 2-6

Alastair Kitson from our UK team is providing a 5-minute video clip, where he summarizes the NEVFMA project, which is the UK’s first county-wide model for predicting traffic flows and emissions.

Highways UK brings together at scale those responsible for the UK’s roads infrastructure. With senior-level involvement of clients, Tier 1s and their supply chains, Highways UK attracts all the key influencers, thought-leaders and decision makers.

While going virtual in 2020 was unavoidable, we are fully embracing the opportunities the new format creates. We are delighted to confirm the continuing strong involvement of key sector clients, especially Highways England, Sub National Transport Bodies and many Local Authorities.

And because it’s all from the comfort of your home and easier to take part, we are highly likely to surpass last year’s record attendance of 6000. We’re also keeping the platform open for two weeks after the event when everything will be available on-demand.

And if you thought a virtual event is merely an attempt to replicate on-line what would have happened at the physical event, then think again. Content-wise we’ll have the brilliant speakers you have come to expect, but the format will be more conversational and more insightful. And from a networking point of view the opportunity to create new connections and generate leads is greater than at physical events.
