The Aimsun team is in Dubai for the 2024 ITS World Congress!
We’re presenting a scalable series of data-driven solutions to support decision making in multimodal mobility: These start with Aimsun Insight, a solution that can rapidly transform raw data into valuable mobility insights by identifying patterns and recurring problems to support transport planning decisions. Shifting up a gear to real-time data analytics, Aimsun Predict can forecast upcoming traffic states and alert traffic managers to sudden anomalies or problems, functioning as a support for proactive decision making. Furthermore, Aimsun presents Aimsun Live, a complete system-wide traffic digital twin for real-time transportation management to operate complex, large-scale mobility networks. Aimsun Live can work in conjunction with Yutraffic Fusion for signalized junction control.
We will present our all-in-one solution to mobility modeling with current demonstrations from Paris and Abu Dhabi: Aimsun Plus which provides a single, united network representation of how people move in any mode, on any scale, be it a whole city or even a region.

The realisation and deployment of CCAM services along the road network, in vehicles, and through services already provides noticeable benefits to travellers. With the advent of the CCAM roll-out, more advanced services are expected to appear alongside traditional vehicles. Currently, CAM services primarily target traditional vehicles. With a gradual increase of CCAM vehicles on the road, traffic will be mixed level, mixed connectivity for a significant time.
Because of this co-existence, the interaction between automated and traditional vehicles and traffic management becomes critical. Where a driver in manually operated vehicles is able to choose a resolution based on traditional traffic systems, rules, guidance, and exceptions, standards with machine-interpretable alternatives are needed to allow these vehicles to act in a consistent and predictable manner. Furthermore, providing a consistent integration of CCAM within traffic management might offer new and unique opportunities.
