9-10 September 2013, Aimsun Users’ Meeting, Barcelona

A big thank you to everyone who came to this year’s Aimsun Users’ Meeting and for once again making it such a success. This year we met on Aimsun’s home territory in the region of Barcelona, Spain. The venue was the Hostal Empúries, located right on the sands of the Costa Brava.

As your comments below make clear, you were definitely in favour of the new format of a shorter, two-day meeting. You particularly valued the technical sessions from TSS staff members, which focussed on the practical applications of Aimsun rather than product description.

“The change in the TSS presentations was VERY good, and hence the value of the TSS day was the best ever!”

“If Carlsberg did traffic models they still wouldn’t be as good as Aimsun. Another great Users’ Meeting and Aimsun 8 is looking awesome!”

“One of the most useful users’ meetings I’ve attended.”

“Thank you for a great user’s meeting in L’Escala…. I particularly liked your new format, with presentations more directed to the use of new features, instead of information about new features. Very useful, and I hope to be back soon.”

“Overall the TSS ppts were very good.”

“The place was very nice and I appreciated the first day with TSS’s presentations.”

“It was pleasant to see a lot of TSS team members.”

Aimsun users also provided a wide-ranging selection of Aimsun applications and case studies, covering themes as diverse as modelling roundabouts or household waste collection routes to very large-scale macroscopic projects.
