Matthew Juckes will be attending the Integrated Corridor Management symposium in Dallas, Texas. This event is the first in the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) 2014 Symposia Series and is organised in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
This ICM Symposium focuses on the development, deployment and operations management of the Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) project along U.S. 75, which extends 28 miles from the City of Dallas to its northern suburbs. Dallas is the twin pilot site for the FHWA ICM initiative, with the other ICM demonstrator site being Interstate 15 in San Diego.
Prior to the symposium, Matthew will be supporting the SANDAG presentation on the San Diego ICM project at the limited stakeholder meeting on the topic of Decision Support Systems (DSS), in Dallas on Tuesday, February 25.
The focus of the meeting is to consider the scope of and success factors for DSS frameworks to accelerate the adoption of data-driven response planning and facilitate inter-agency projects, such as ICM systems.
