ITS Technology Workshop for Municipalities – a Sequel

Come and visit with Karen Giese and Pascal Volet at the Aimsun booth for the third installment of this ITS Canada event. ITS Technology Workshop for Municipalities – a Sequel takes place on February 15, 2017 at Deer Creek Golf Course & Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ontario and the theme of the workshop is “Next Generation ITS – Are We Ready?” As ever, the focus is on emerging technologies at the municipal level with a focus on the GTHA.

The keynote speaker is Mr. Adam Blinick, Management Consultant, Head of Public Affairs at Uber Canada and other speakers will cover themes such as the ATMS or the application of ITS for municipal fire and emergency services.

  TSS brings Aimsun traffic modelling software to ITS Canada Technology Workshop for Municipalities

MTO comissioned one of the largest networks ever developed with a vehicle-based mesoscopic simulation model: the Toronto Area model aimed to evaluate a priority lane network for the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. TSS supported the Pan Am/ParaPan Am Transportation Team (PATT), who were responsible for developing the Toronto model.
