Elisenda Codina and Timothy Lim of the Sydney office will attend this evening workshop in central Sydney.
The transportation network within Sydney’s CBD will be undergoing rapid change in the coming years. These changes involve the construction of the CBD and South East Light Rail, major changes to bus routes, redirection of key traffic routes and implementation of new Cycleways.
Speakers at this seminar will cover both the planning and implementation stages.
Sebastian Smyth – Principal Manager, CBD and Major Centres Transport Planning, Transport for NSW, will share his experience in developing the Sydney City Centre Access Strategy.
Richard West – Principal Traffic Engineer, Parsons Brinckerhoff, is the current project manager for the Sydney City Centre Traffic Management Plan 2020. Richard will talk about the importance of this project in bringing together the overall mosaic of transport network initiatives that will change the way people access to, from and within Sydney CBD.
The project involves the development of measures to improve or maintain efficiency of the existing network during the implementation of these transport initiatives.
