FLOURISH: TSS wins role in UK consortium to lead R&D in user-centric connected and autonomous vehicles
The three-year project, worth £5.5 million, seeks to develop products and services that maximise the benefits of Connected and Autonomous vehicles (CAVs) for users and transport authorities. The role of TSS in this consortium is to develop a network operations model for modelling CAVs using the Aimsun traffic simulation software.
A consortium led by the University of Sheffield and involving 13 European partners, including TSS, the ‘SETA’ project will use big data in new ways to understand and model mobility.
