Lehman Center for Transportation Research at Florida International University and Transportation Simulation System are pleased to invite you to a seminar on the use of microscopic simulation and dynamic traffic assignment to model transportation networks. The seminar will present a review of the theory necessary to understand simulation modeling and dynamic traffic assignment (DTA).

It will also introduce the participants to the application of the AIMSUN NG software, an advanced transportation system simulation environment to model transportation networks. The seminar will also include hands-on exercises with the AIMSUN software.

The date of the seminar will be Monday September 11 and Tuesday September 12, 2006. The registration fee will be $200. The registration fee includes instruction, training material, lunches and coffee breaks
