Support Services

Since its origins, it is TSS policy to take special care of AIMSUN NG Users offering a wide range of Support Services. AIMSUN NG Users may:

• ensure the constant updating of its AIMSUN NG license (Software Upgrade Subscription)
• enjoy customized Technical Support
• request the collaboration of TSS for any particular project
• attend to the Training Courses regularly organized by TSS

Software Upgrade Subscription (SUS)

The SUS entitles the user to receive any Software Upgrade for free during certain period. TSS will release a new Version of the software, which means software improvements and new features, from time to time.

Upon the release of a new Version, users without a valid SUS will need to purchase a Software Upgrade to the new Version in order to get a license for the new version.

When a user first purchase a license, a 1 year SUS is included. The user may purchase new SUS periods, usually annual periods at a cheaper cost than the Upgrade itself. SUS can only be contracted immediately after expiration of a previous SUS or when purchasing a new Software Upgrade.

Technical Support

All AIMSUN NG users are entitled to a free subscription to the Users Forum, where they can make questions that may be answered at TSS’ sole discretion, or by any other user.

Moreover, users may contract Technical Support Services, either from TSS or from TSS agent (in those countries where there is a Technical Certified Distributor).

Technical Support provided by TSS will be contracted on a persons/day/year basis and can be used for any purpose related to the use of the Software.

Any user may report to TSS bugs found in any of the ‘alive’ versions through the TSS Bugs Reporting System. Bugs reported through this system are not to be considered Technical Support. TSS will try to fix all reported bugs according to levels of priority defined by TSS.

Particular enquires made by users to TSS (or TSS agent), even those related to supposed bugs, will be considered as Technical Support Service.

TSS provides consulting services that covers any part of a trafic study: from the definition of the project, building networks, their calibration, developments (AIMSUN API and customized versions of our software)...

TSS regularly organises Basic and Advanced courses in Barcelona and around the world. Training Courses at client's place can also be arranged upon demand.
